On June 5 and 6 in the mansion Arhangelskoe there will be held the 7th International Music Fest "Mansion Jazz". The fest will be opened by Vadim Eilenkrig and Aaron Parks, who will be followed by Young musicians competition Grand Prix 2010, as well as the special program-dedication to George Garanian faded away this January at 76 years old. The next day, the "Aristocrat" stage will be at the disposal of "Krugly Band", Anna Buturlina and Alexey Bekker trio, Vitaly Golovnev, Ivan Farmakovsky, Borislav Strulev and SymFusion Orchestra with Arkady Shilkloper and Lev Slepner.
It is already the second tribute paid to the brilliant Soviet and Russian jazzman, RF people’s artist Georgi Garanian. The first concert-dedication "Love story, Maestro’s favorite music" was held on April 21, 2010 in Tchaikovsky Concert Hall of the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic Hall. Among the performers there were Joseph Kobzon, Tamara Gverdtsiteli, Vitali Imereli (Finland), Daniel Kramer, Eileen Lymus-Sanders (USA), Robert Brown (USA), Alexander and Dmitri Bril, Georgi Garanian’s big-band (conductor and soloist – Marcella Pappini, (UK) and of course "Melodia" ensemble State Russian Centre for Music. The concert met with a great success and gathered a big number of Maestro’s admirers.
